I am a die-hard heat fan. yes, the miami heat. even when they got the worst record in the league, i cheered on. now, i am going to talk about a heat point guard, who seems to be underrated, but i see some potential in him. his name's Mario Chalmers. This 6'1 ft, 190 lb point guard played for the university of kansas, and now for the miami heat. now let's go back to his college career, he was second in scoring for the kansas jayhawks, and he hit an unbelievable 3-pointer when they were down by three with a few seconds left during the NCAA championships. The game was sent to overtime where they eventually won and was proclaimed NCAA champions. today, as a starter for the miami heat, he averages 10points per game, 4.8 assists and 1.9 steals. now he may not be named rookie of the year, but he has potential that most people do not see in him. one day this kid's going to be a solid player on the nba.

MIAMI HEAT
now we can't talk about the heat without mentioning d-wade right? i'm also a die-hard wade fan, and i'm hoping he'd be given the MVP award this year. with all that he's done for miami, he deserves it. Dwyane Tyrone Wade, born in Chicago, played College Ball in Marquette, and averages an outstanding 27.9 points per game, 7 assists, 4.7 rebound, 2.1 steals and 1.3 blocks for the miami heat. he also leads the league in scoring, but what most of you don't know, he also leads all guards in blocks, leads the miami heat all-time in scoring, and is the 1st NBA player to ever have 500+ assists, 100+ steals and 100+ blocks in a single season. enough said, d-wade IS mvp. :)
